We made a Huskie plate holder for a customer which wanted ABS material. However we suggested to print it in ASA instead because of the superior weather resistance and UV resistance the part would gain. These two crucial requirements for a part that would be used out doors in demanding environments such as on a motorcycle will make it less prone to warping or failure because of degradation. The customer was delighted with the suggestion and with the result.

A good example that if customers tell us the intended purpose of some part, we can usually suggest a best suited material choice for them.
